Bio:
Ashley is a senior scientist at GlaxoSmithKline in Biopharmaceutical Downstream Process Development. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Joining GSK in 2015, she first gained experience in Formulations and Drug Delivery as a member of the Biopharmaceutical Advanced Manufacturing Technologies team before transitioning to her current position. Presently, Ashley is involved in the development of GSK’s semi-continuous biopharmaceutical manufacturing platform. In this role she has contributed to the design, commissioning, and demonstration of the integrated drug substance manufacturing skid. She looks forward to contributing to increased industrialization and adoption of continuous technology in biopharmaceuticals.
